The Crossings is a new 4 Story Independent living Facility with 193 apartment units.  The apartments are one or two-bedroom units.  They all have en-suite bathrooms with handicap showers, full kitchens and laundry hookups.  In addition, the facility has full-service commercial kitchen and bar. 
 

LMI installed the plumbing system all the way from the underground piping all the way to the final fixture. 

This project utilized the Uponor PEX piping systems with manifolds for each apartment allowing for efficient installation of the water systems.  Sioux chief “Ox Box” outlet boxes were used for all fixture water connections.  This allowed the piping systems to be completed and tested without the use of any temporary valving or labor to install.

The water heating system utilized 3-140 gallon gas-fired water heaters producing 140 and 120 hot water for the facility. We also installed a water softening system due to the hard water condition in that municipality.
